Georgetown’s labor shed encompasses over 1,300,000 workers. Local employers draw from
a workforce well outside of the city itself. The labor shed is comprised largely of young
professionals with more than a third of the workers between the ages of 25 and 44.

Georgetown city provides a strategic benefit for employers seeking a skilled workforce due
to its close location to Fort Cavazos which sees more than 1,000 soldiers transition out
