Meet the Staff
Cameron Goodman
Director of Economic Development

Cameron serves as the Director of Economic Development for the City of Georgetown. In this role, Cameron leads the department in its business recruitment and retention efforts and implements the city’s strategic plan and vision for economic development. Cameron holds a Master of Public Administration degree from the Bush School of Government & Public Service at Texas A&M University and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Sam Houston State University. Cameron is a graduate of the Unversity of Oklahoma’s Economic Development Institute and is a Certified Economic Development (CEcD).
Jennifer DeRoeck
Marketing Coordinator

In addition to planning and executing the annual Georgetown Economic Development Symposium, Jennifer coordinates all marketing activities including the designing of marketing materials used to recruit and retain businesses. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Visual Communications from the University of Mary-Hardin Baylor.
Conchita Gusman
Business Retention and Expansion (BR&E) Program Manager

Through her management of the BR&E program for the City of Georgetown, Conchita helps to remove economic barriers for existing businesses so they may remain and flourish in the community. She has served on the city’s Economic Development Advisory Board for over five years and is currently an active member of the Georgetown Chamber’s Workforce Development Alliance. Conchita has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and an MBA in Management Science/Human Resources. She is also an alumna of Leadership Georgetown.
