Georgetown is the County Seat of Williamson County.  Organized in 1848, the county is made up of 1,135 sq. miles with rolling hills in the west and rich farmland in the east.  The recently restored Courthouse is the centerpiece of Georgetown’s beautiful historic square.   Throughout the year, events are held on and around the grounds of the Courthouse.
