Georgetown serves as the county seat for Williamson County. Located just north of Austin, Williamson county is one of the fastest growing counties in the nation. Due to Georgetown’s central location within the county, you’ll find many services conveniently located, including the Drivers License Office, Registration & Titling and the Tax Assessor’s Office.
